April 10th, Saturday
- Civil War Preservation Trust Park Day
Help clean up, restore, and repair various areas of the site.
Begins at 9:00 a.m. - come when you can, leave when you must.
Bring gloves, sturdy shoes, food and drink. No pre-registration required.

May1st, Saturday - Opening Day at Black Jack Battlefield & Nature Park
2010 Season for "guided tours" begins at 1:00 p.m.
Admission for seasonal guided tours is free.
Guided tours at 1p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until the third Sunday of October.

June 5th, Saturday - John Brown's Battle at Black Jack
Gate opens at 9:00 a.m. - closes at 8:00 p.m.
Admission: $5 Adults / Children 12 and under FREE
Three film quality reenactments:
11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
live period music * historic artifacts * guest speakers * nature park tours
vendors/crafters * performers * period demonstrations * food

August 15th, Sunday - Civil War on the Western Frontier
Guided tour of the battlefield where John Brown and Henry Clay Pate
fought what most consider to be the first battle of the
American Civil War.

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Free!
Donations accepted and appreciated!
